The Temple of the Heavens

Shirley, our FTIA guide, and Mary Jo at the Temple of the Heavens. The early Chinese were very aware that there was a higher being, even higher than emperors. The temple and 700 acres very serene. Lovely location. Lots of trees and paths. Slight drizzle while we were there, but still very enjoyable.
